Welcome to the Website of All Saints, Margaret Street
It will introduce you to the daily life of this parish which has been serving God and people in the heart of London for over 155 years: its ministry of worship and prayer, pastoral care and spiritual counsel, preaching and teaching; and its glorious building recently restored. We very much hope that you will come and visit us - we are generally open seven days a week from 7am to 7pm with three daily Masses (special arrangements apply on Bank Holidays when only the lunchtime Mass takes place) - and join in the offering of worship. However, at the moment - please see details below of our current major electrical renewal project which impacts access to Church Monday - Saturday.
NEWS!! LIGHTING REFURBISHMENT PROJECT PROGRESSING WELL
Phase One - the removal of the old cabling and lighting is complete.
Phase Two - Church will be closed Monday - Saturday until Christmas while we fit new electrical cabling in preparation for installing a new lighting scheme. Our regular weekday services will take place in the Parish Room, with Confessions in the Oratory (access via the Parish Office or Vicarage). The Church will be open on Sundays as usual. We apologise for the use of temporary lighting and the presence of scaffolding needed for safe high-level working.
Completion of all works and the introduction of our new lighting in Church are due by the end of January 2015, allowing for a Christmas break and subject to the supply of specialist items.
How you can help - While we are very excited to be making good progress with this essential work, we would still appreciate further donations to fund it, so please send cheques to:
All Saints Restoration Appeal to the Parish Administrator, 7 Margaret Street, LONDON W1W 8JG. Please indicate where Gift Aid may be applicable, since it increases your donation by 25%. Thank you!
